The protection period is 4-6 weeks
after which there is no guarantee of a barrier effect, and membrane resorption begins.

The membrane is ideal for protecting small defects
at which rapid regeneration is expected.

If you need to use the hemostatic effect of collagen
or the initial stiffness of the membrane to hold the granular implant, then the membrane can be used without prior hydration.
